L'histoire retrace plusieurs mois de la vie de Lui, à partir de sa rencontre avec Ama un jeune punk. On y suis ses émotions et sa vie amoureuse, sa découverte des modifications corporelles, qu'elle décide d'essayer en tranchant sa langue, en passant par sa descente dans l'alcoolisme.
L'histoire se poursuit avec la découverte tragique au sujet de son petit ami et du mystérieux tatoueur Shiba-san avec lequel elle partage une relation spéciale.
